Ted Hancock - “The Building of Totley Tunnel”
This presentation is almost certain but is, at the time of writing, subject to confirmation.
A large part of the presentation is made up of the regular reports to the Midland railway Board by the engineers working on the tunnel. Ted tells me that, at a local history group in Dore, a member of his audience, who had travelled from Scotland to see the show, was a descendant of two of the engineers on the project and owned the original, hand written reports.

Paul Downer – Recruitment  Drive Material
Paul, who is a director of PRA has taken it upon himself to launch a recruitment drive. He is, currently, putting material together to this end and I have invited him to use us for a test run before taking the show on the road. You will understand that this is still a provisional item and could be subject to a late change. If this is the case, I do have an alternative which I would prefer to keep up my sleeve for the time being.
Roger Hallatt - “Review of 2011 and preview of 2012”
I cannot imagine what the review of 2011 might cover – but, then again, perhaps I might have an inkling. It is always a pleasure to welcome Roger to this event.
